VITROLOG |
Ambulatory Bloodpressure Recorder
The VITROlog, having a weight of less than 200 grams, is probably the lightest ambulatory blood pressure recorder available today. At a size of only 80x100 mm, the VITROlog easily fits in each shirt pocket. Nevertheless, it is a reliable and reasonable companion for the long-term monitoring of a person's blood pressure. The device works with the oscillometric method only. This means, the user only has to position the cuff at the patient's arm. The VITROlog records the the systolic and the diastolic blood pressure as well as the patient's pulse rate. The recording intervals are adjustable by the doctor and are typically arranged to lie between 15 and 20 minutes during day time. These intervals can be made longer during the night, to minimize the patient's disturbance. Up to four different interval phases can be programmed. Up to 200 measurements can be recorded and reviewed by using a PC and the included software.
The VITROlog is small, convenient and lightweight. It can be carried in a little pouch or can be fixed with a belt. The delivery of the VITROlog includes a cuff as well as the software, the pouch and the cable for connection to a PC, all conveniently stored in a plastic case.
